Frequently Asked Questions
How/when do I RSVP?
You can RSVP on this very website—just look at the top right of the screen. The button is disabled for now until the official invites go out, but we hope that you look forward to clicking on it in the very near future.
What will the weather be like?
If you can predict the weather in Colorado in May, I would be interested in traveling with you to Las Vegas to explore your other superpowers. The reception, along with the ceremony if required, can take place under the tent at the venue, which will be equipped with space heaters. We advise checking the weather prior to packing and dressing accordingly for the day. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best!
Where should I stay?
Idaho Springs is not a large town with boundless hotel options, therefore we will provide a recommended hotel in Golden, CO. See the Travel & Stay tab above. There are, however, several quaint Airbnbs in the vicinity of the venue.
How should I get to the wedding?
Shuttles will be available from designated locations in Idaho Springs and Golden to the venue. These shuttles will be scheduled for pick-up before the wedding and drop-off afterwards, accommodating all guests. Multiple times and locations will be offered to ensure convenience for everyone. Further details will be provided soon.
Can I park at the venues?
Technically yes, but only if you need to. There are limited parking spaces at the venue and we would like to ensure adequate space for people who truly need it.
Most importantly, when will we eat?
Cocktail hour will begin at the venue at approximately 4:30 PM, where there will be snacks and drinks. Dinner will follow.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We are having a family-style dinner, with several entrees and side dishes, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. If you have specific concerns or allergies, please don't hesitate to contact us with the form at the bottom of the page and we will confer with our caterer.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes!
Will any of the Keatings be allowed near the firepit?
Due to previous incidents and legal concerns, our lawyers have advised—probably not.
What if something happens and I can’t attend?
If you find that you cannot attend after having sent your RSVP, please let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to adjust our accommodations accordingly. You can notify us with the form at the bottom of the page.
Can I bring children?
We love your little ones, truly, but due to space limitations, we have to limit the event to the people listed on the invite. If this is an inconvenience to anyone, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. Thank you for understanding!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite, and we cannot accommodate a plus one for every guest. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed their name or "and guest" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and finding your seat. The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM.
Is there a dress code for the reception?
The dress code for the reception is cocktail attire. Please feel free to be comfortable while still looking your best!
These so-called “frequent questions” did not in fact address my question and I have made it to the bottom of the list extremely disappointed.
